I went to see that movie last night. It sucked so bad that the general sucking drowned out the noise of the sucking of blood. Why are you leading people astray in this manner?

The commercials for 30 Days of Night scare the bejabbers out of me. I THINK I WILL SKIP THAT ONE. (Also one of the ads has used the intro to a Muse song! I forget which one, though!)

LOL TOTES. I am now going to think of that whenever it comes up in a text. XD

I <3 Pan's Labyrinth. My dad loves it too. But I can see how the increased expectation of fantasy might have skewed your viewing experience! I do love that the fantasy realm itself is dark and twisted and skeery, though.

The imdb faq says it's an instrumental version of "Apocalypse Please", though I wouldn't know since I never saw any trailers (though now I kind of want to just to hear the music!).

VICTORY.

Instrumental version? Huh. Now that I've actually listened to the song, it sounds like what was in the trailer was just the opening of the album version. (Try Youtube! And I can upload "Apocalypse Please" if you want. <3)

That is disappointing but expected (it would've been cool to hear an instrumental version of that song).

As a matter of fact, that song is attached to the only Muse album I currently own, so I'm set! ♥

LITOTES

I am pleased that Hollywood finally heeds my concerns that they are glamorizing the bloodsuckers. Well done, screening it!

ALSO: LOL, TOTES. Best Z!

i agree about the pan's labrynth trailers. i hate that...especially that it doesn't give you ANY idea of the brutality that occurs in the movie. and i'm sure a lot of parents let children see it b/c it looked a lot like a kid's fantasy movie....some of the violence made ME cringe (and i'm pretty well desensitized)!!
but i did love it to the point that i went and bought it! i suggest watching it again. i've seen it...4 times? and every time i cry at the end. that poor little girl...

From what I remember of the movie (granted not very much) it was decent for what it was. It could have been worse but it also had much room for improvement. But I think that was probably the only film in which I liked Josh Hartnett. Definitely a decent Halloween flik though.

Still glad that I did not go to the fair with you guys. I crashed on Saturday. Got up, did my papers and then went back to sleep - or at least as much as I could while having coughing fits. Glad you guys had fun though.

And 'Pan's Labyrinth' is indeed quite awesome.
