*BEWARE, FRIENDS OF Z WHO HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE: SPOILERS*
omg omg omg I was so UPSET that Dreyman did not say anything to Wiesler when he saw him walking down the road but then when Wisler gets the book and the teller's all, 'Is this a gift?' and Wisler's all 'No, it's for me' I CRY EVERY DAMN TIME. EVERY TIME. I love this movie like no other movie I have ever seen ever.
And yes, I too was deeply saddened when I found out that Ulrich Mühe had died -- I cried and cried. But at least he got to produce a movie of such brilliance.
YAY I was watching the director interview, and he said that the movie's love theme was used in only three scenes: when Dreyman is with Christa unwrapping presents post-party, when she runs home to him after meeting with Wiesler in the bar, and at the very end when Wiesler is reading the dedication in the book.
WAY TO TUG AT MY HEARTSTRINGS THERE.
Plus the interview helped me understand why Wiesler was going through those changes then, and not earlier or later, so yay! The movie's just that much more awesome now.

That's okay, it makes your comment look very enthusiastic. Like a different brand of capslock.
