My high school French teacher was the best, she used to let us hide out in her room instead of attending mandatory seventh period assemblies. Though, if we had ever been caught in her room, she warned us, she would deny giving us permission to be there.

I don't know what the deal was, but back in the day getting to miss a day of class or assembly was the shit! I love cool teachers like that though.

Apps can also go on an iPod touch. That's a lot cheaper then an iPhone.

I loved LOVED band! Miss it terribly. My high school was pretty small, so without band, and an activity like that, my four years would have probably sucked hard core.
