Now that I finally have some time to blog, I'm going to take a little time to take a gander at this year's nominees. As per usual, the Academy has courted a little controversy, and not without reason.

Feh. I liked The Dark Knight, but I wouldn't think of it as Best Picture.

Didn't see Benjamin Button, but if it's anything like the source material, I won't waste time watching it. My god, it was like literary Benadryl.
