The Betrayal of The Blue Loom

It was because of him, that I woke up, when I did. The hair-licking, he has come to find, is a very effective tool, for pulling me out of sleep. Once awake, I was ( Read more... )

Have you tried it on?

Sometimes I find the oddest looking/sized socks are actually the most comfortable.

It does not fit. Sadly, it is a short little sock, that just serves NO purpose, at all...other than reminding me, of how I loathe looms.

Welcome, Stepford Michael. Glad you have finally discovered the soothing effects of yarn.

As to the sock - first try it on and make sure it is too small. If it is you have three choices:

1. undo the grafting and add two inches.
2. Use it as a reminder of why you don't like looms.
3. Frog it and use the yarn for something else.

Hugs and have a great therapy session,

Kae

The sock MOST DEFINITELY is WAY too small. But, I shall keep it, just to remind me of my loom hatred. Lol.

Helpful hint. I never use my store bought socks as a guide to knitted socks. I take a tape measure and measure my foot every time. They look huge because my knitted socks aren't as stretchy. Du wears size 12-13 shoe and I believe his foot length is 11.5 inches total so I would start the toe decreases at 9.5 inches.

Thank you. This is good to know, as I STILL have two pairs, to make.
