I know the frustration that happens when yarn just won't behave all too well. Those are the moments when I'm really grateful that my mother tongue has such wonderful curse words. :D I hope the rest of your project goes smoothly.

Good luck with your classes!

Oh, well...When the yarn, or loom, act out too bad, I curse like a FRIGGIN sailor. Most of the time, my sweetie look at me, and laugh, saying I am "over-reacting".
Thank you. I need all the luck I can get.

When you are too smug the Yarn Gods will smite you.

Exactly right, basketcaselady. It isn't nice to get too smug in front of the yarn Gods.

Glad the shawlette is through the decreases and ready for the fringe.

What class(es) are you starting with in this school adventure?

Hugs, happy stitching and great first day of school.

I think that I have (at least for a little while) learned my lesson. Being smug is no good.
My first class is EXP105. It is just this class, that will help me get used to learning, in an online environment.
Thank you for the well wishes. I hope my first is great.

I look forward to seeing a photo! I'm sure she'll love it.

I'm glad your mother is staying with her sister: a break with other people and places helps take one's mind off things.

I'm sure we will!

I'm looking for the right shawl or scarf pattern for some bouclé yarn in gorgeous colours I bought on impulse. Probably crochet.

You will be great at school. You've learned how to push thru even when things aren't going right - thank those pesky yarn gods for that! LOL.

Hugs and have a great first day at school,

Kae
