A Guest Comes By, Too Damned Early!

Mar 27, 2011 10:08

Yesterday, my mother went to Orange County, to spend the weekend with my sister. It was a little mini-vacation, that was ABSOLUTELY needed. She needed the break from all of us. And, we all NEEDED the break from her. So, it was a win-win situation ( Read more... )

Best line ever: "He had shown up, way earlier than expected. It was his fault."

I feel your pain. I have these flat plastic boxes that I keep under my bed for shoes. But yet, somehow, the yarn just ends up everywhere in my bedroom, the living room, the bathroom (I don't know how that ball got in there-must have been the cat).

As long as you realise you have a problem, its not a problem, right? Right? :)

Lol. Right. Besides...it isn't a problem for me. My yarn has a desire to wander the house. Is that so bad?

Hey, if anyone chooses to turn up at 7am without warning, they have to expect people to still be in their pyjamas! Hell, I'd probably still be in bed. Anyway well done in the quick tidy-up!

I am sitting by my yarn stash which is in plastic bags in the corner. I really should take it all upstairs and put it in a cupboard where it's out of sight. My current project is always under a cushion when I'm not working on it, mainly to keep the cats from lying on it. :-)

I was completely in shock, that he turned up so early. I mean, who does that? 7 am is way too early, in my opinion.
Thank you. It was quite a rush to tidy things up.
I should try to be a little bit more cleaner, when it comes to my yarn. But, that is not likely. :-)

That bath sounds exquisite. I might try that sometime.

Hahaha and I totally understand not being thrilled with a visitor at 7AM. I would be a grumpy, unapologetic mess.

Rosemary Mint Bath - Yes
Hot Buttered Rum - Yes, I can say YUMMY.

Tendonitis, and Dizzy Spell - Mommy's revenge.

You do you know Moms know when they're being ignored, don't you?

Well, they weren't that bad. But yeah, I have people coming over Tuesday night. I got about an hours worth of cleaning done this weekend. . . LOL! I know I'll be rushing around tomorrow night and Tuesday before people show up.

I meant that it doesn't sound like your yarn corner was that bad that you could make it presentable in about 5-10 minutes.
