I'm a big fan of re-usable shopping bags so here's a suggestion for the reader chosen project:

In looking for this I found a pattern for a cloche style hat, that may just get me loom knitting:

Cool...thanks. I will choose a project, from all that get sent may way, in August 2011. I will drop all projects in a hat, and blindly choose one. Feel free to send more.

I hate those funk days - I've had them and I understand the feeling. Sometimes, you just need to be in your funk and left alone. At least you got yourself out of it and in a great mood by the end of your day, AND you were productive on that fish pillow too! Good luck with the rest of it...I can't wait to see the pics of the finished fishy! :)

It was one of those days, where I just DID NOT want to be happy. Lol. I am happy the bath helped get me out of it.

I'm glad you came out of it, and that the increasing is all done. Take heart: increases and decreases are a piece of cake on needles.

For your next project, how about this bag or this bag or a rug? They don't look as if they have much increasing or decreasing. :-)

Thank you for the projects. Feel free to send as many as you wish. I will be choosing one, this coming August, as my final loom knit project.

I don't know many loom knit patterns. I just did a search on Lion Brand. :-)

Sometimes I just need a good cry. Once I get it out, I feel better.

How exciting that the fish pillow is almost done!

Crying can do wonders. This is very true.

Sorry about the blue funk - I hate feeling that way and am so glad you were able to shake it in one day.

Now that the funk is gone - you can celebrate that you are walking more naturally without falling. Before long those canes will be history.

And before long that fish pillow will be stuffed and mounted - so to speak.

It is wonderful that you received the thank you letter from Loma Linda when you most needed the pick-me-up.

Hugs and happy looming,

Kae

It was just a HORRIBLE day, yesterday. But, as a reader recently told me...if nothing else, a bath is all healing.
I hope to be cane free, soon. That will be so nice!
