Don't Put Away the Crochet Hooks riverglorious February 8 2011, 18:27:27 UTC
Michael,

You'll need them for loom knitting. Don't put them away just yet. You'll need to bind off in either knitting or crochet, and since you already crochet, then you'll need them. And they are handy for picking up dropped stitches, too.

:) :) :)

Michael,

What a contrast of your first picture of your first block of crochet to the amazing apron! A very productive journey and the photos show just how rapidly you have progressed.

Enjoy your celebration and we will await the start of the next phase.

Hugs and happy stitching tomorrow.

Kae

Thanks, Kae. It is nice, to look over all the pictures. I did so, last night.
My family thinks it is silly to celebrate, but oh well. I am going to, anyway. =)

Michael, I'll raise a cup of tea in celebration. I don't think it is silly at all to celebrate a project completion and a new beginning.

Have a great time - see you at the beginning tomorrow.

Hugs,

Kae

I first chose the grand deadline, of 2 years. I chose 2 years because, my original surgeon told me I would be recovering, for 2.5 years, AT LEAST. (I started the yarn project 7 months, after my surgery.) I figured that I could use an escape, from the day to day struggle, of recovery.
And, I was working with 3 methods, so I just divided up, the 2 years, into equal amounts. Viola...8 months, with each method.
