Oh those pillows sound like wonderful V-day gifts! And it's nice to play with yarn without deadlines!

While you are playing with the pillows, write up the pattern. They sound like a very cute project and could also be adapted to being a tooth-fairy pillow as well.

They sound real cute.

Congratulations on allowing yourself to rip out the heart. If the project doesn't make your heart sing then it is the wrong project!

Hugs and happy stitching,

The pillows are thrilling me. They are simple, but they are fun. It is something that I like making.
I was happy to rip the heart, into non-exsistence. It was not a fun project. It was BEYOND monotonous.

gracewillow,

Thanks for the compliment. Yes I make the afghan for the Wounded Warriors at Ft. Carson, CO. There isn't a pattern but it is all based on blocks that are multiples of 5 inches (5x5, 5x10, 10x10,, etc) and then I crocheted around each block with black and then joined the blocks with black. You can see more of the afghans on Ravelry.com at this link: http://www.ravelry.com/discuss/we-care-stitchers/1251905/1-25

Hugs and happy stitching,

Kae

The pillows sound cute! I actually thought you were describing a tooth fairy pillow at the beginning, so it could be a very adaptable pattern. Dont forget pictures...we LOVE pictures!
