So, They Are Pretty Good

Last night, I was up, until the ungodly hour of 2 am. I forgot to take my antibiotics out of the fridge. They have to be warm, before shot through the picc-line,  or it will freeze the heck out of me. Typically one hour is good enough, warming time. At 1 am, I remembered. By 2 am, when getting my nightly infusions, I was BEYOND exhausted. After ( Read more... )

Michael,

You are a great relative because you work hard to give a gift that the person receiving it will love - even if you HATE the color you are working with to create it! Hugs and hi-fives for being awesome.

So glad that the yellow, orange, white yarn will work. It is a brand I love working with which is why I sent it to you so you could try it out.

Also, it is wonderful that your family is finally coming around to appreciation of you and the Yarn Project. May next year find even greater acceptance and encouragement.

Now - Hugs and happy beanie making,

Kae

Thank you.
I know he will LOVE the beanie. That is, honestly, the only reason I am able to keep going on it.
The yarn will not only work....but it will be PERFECT, for my mother-in-laws beanie. Thank you again.
So...what have you been up to, as of late. Is the snowman plant still bringing cheer? God knows, I see the bear, every day, and I smile.

The snowman plant is still bringing lots of cheer - especially since we have snow on the ground and it was foggy this morning - sunny now tho.

I've completed another wounded warrior afghan and my very first pair of socks - took a class to learn how to make socks. I'm currently crocheting a bear cocoon outfit for display at the LYS. It is way cute and I'm almost done with it.

Pictures of all the above on my projects page on Ravelry and here's the link: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/kae1crafts

Other than the above - I'm staying inside and enjoying Christmas music and avoiding the shopping frenzy - all the grandkids are getting money this year - which is what they prefer!

Hugs, happy holidays everyone and happy stitching,

Kae

Unca Mike is making a beanie... :) :) :)

The beauty of making something out of love, knowing that the person is going to enjoy it because you made it thinking of him or her.

Have a good Sunday, Michael.

Ambar,
I am really hoping the beanies will be cherished, and not just thrown aside, as some silly 'homemade gift.'
