Personally I'd leave those hidden bitches in the woodwork where they belong!!!
Glad your wavy blanket is coming along nicely. I have the last wounded warrior blanket I've assembled in the laundry as we speak. So glad to have it all stitched together and border completed. It is a fall theme so I'm making a few leaves to sprinkle across it.
Hugs and happy stitching.

As for the neighbor friend...um I realize that your mom is recovering and you are helping out, but that doesn't mean that she needs you every second of the day. My goodness, if you were hovering over her like some sort of vulture, she'd probably go mad! You have made so much of your time about your mother, it's completely unfathomable that your friend should expect you to not have a minute to yourself. It's not like you can't set the blanket down if you mom needs a glass of water or something else. Geez! (Holy, that put me in defensive mode! lol)

It's nice to see that your mom is home and doing okay.
Okay for Ms. Bitch. It is perfectly okay for you to crochet while you are sitting with your mom. You are there ready to jump up when your mom needs something, but you are not sitting there doing nothing. Tell her to mind her own business and go away if she starts acting up again.

I completely agree with you. I should be able to crochet, without people getting all bitchy, about it. People just need to back off, and think, before they condemn...ya know.
I hope you are doing well.
