I Was Tempted

Coffee...Check! Morning bath...Check! Writing a new blog entry...Check!
And the truly amazing thing is, it is still relatively early, in the morning. These past few days, I have been getting such a late start. It is damn near noon, by the time that I am able to open my computer, and visit my blog. But, not today. Nope! This morning, I awoke, bright ( Read more... )

Michael,

You ARE an artist and after a few more offers to purchase your creations I hope you will believe it too. Next time someone makes a snotty remark you can now counter with 'but I turned down an offer to buy ...' because I have other plans for that item. Before long those who are critical will begin to see the errors of their ways. Meanwhile you have the quiet satisfaction of knowing that your design was loved.

You may even have surged into a career path while working on your yarn project.

Hugs and happy stitching.

Kae

PS - I much prefer this leafy layout to the black screen before. The other one was depressing for me.

I remember, when I first set out to do The Yarn Project. On Ravelry, there were quite a few people who called me a silly, naive man. They claimed that there was no way I could do what my goal was. So far, I have proved that wrong.
Thank you, Kae. Thank you for your ongoing support. It really does mean so much to me. I actually look forward to reading your comments. They always make me smile.

Rock on! It is cool that you are getting people trying to buy your stuff. I understand the temptation to do almost anything to get more yarn (I just spent the day working at the knitting store for the supplies I needed for a tea cosy and a pumpkin hat so believe me, I understand). It was a good thing they needed the help this week or I would have been out on the street with a sign saying "Brother can you spare a skein?"

Hehe. I can just picture that. Funny!
Yes...I was very tempted. But, I knew I had to keep it. So, I declined, and went about my merry (broke) way.
