Thought Before Bed, & A Brand New Day

So, last night, after writing my (incredibly short) entry, I turned my computer off, and sat on the green, oversized chair, in my Aunt's house. It is an incredibly comfortable chair...one of those ones where you can keep scooting, a little further back.  In fact, as you push back, into this chair, you really begin to wonder if it has a back to it, ( Read more... )

Cruise and yarn kae1crafts September 12 2010, 16:59:38 UTC
Michael,

You might be more comfortable if you took a small project with you - if the yarn relaxes you. A few minutes each day as a yarn meditation helps put me into a better frame of mind. Personally I feel lost if I don't have something to keep my fingers busy - crocheting, knitting, embroidery, word puzzles, book - something. I find that the knitting/crocheting is best for travel because I can be involved with things around me but still have busy fingers.

Hugs and happy stitching today.

Kae,
I think you are right. I will be taking yarn with me. The more I think on it, the more obvious it becomes. Me, without yarn...not a good idea. Hehe.

Do yourself a favor, TAKE THE YARN on the cruise with you. Maybe not the afghan, after all it may get warm but don't make yourself do without.

Good advice. I am starting to think that I will take it with me. Even if I don't crochet, I will still KNOW that it is there.
