You are making awesome progress - you are working on three projects, they are all coming along nicely even with the near misses with Mom.
I have to completely agree with your followng note:
(Note to self. Dark yarn, in the night, is a real BITCH!)
As you get older and the eyes don't work as well, you will find that even during the daylight some colors aren't a joy to use. I love black framing afghan blocks - as long as someone else is doing the framing job! My eyes don't like working with black any longer. I used to think that was so strange when I'd hear someone complain and now I truly, TRULY understand!.
