Glad you are working on school work ahead of time instead of the last minute crunch. That will make school much easier and less stressful.

The next time he wants to stop by the Moose for a "quick" 40 mins, ask him to drop you off at JoAnn's first. He can pick you up when he's done. That should give you a good hour plus at JoAnn's without anyone rushing you.

Have you considered installing Open Office? A lot of people say they prefer it to Microsoft.
