I suddenly doesn't feel creative...and I don't know why.

Richard eyed the prickly item with green leaves coming out the top. He'd asked Bar for some fruit and this was what he'd been given. "I'm supposed to eat this how?" He asked Bar, not sure yet if he actually expected some kind of response from the magical counter in front of him. He was used to fruit that was small, usually round, and something you could bite into. And he was sure if he tried to bite into that, all he'd end up with was a mouth full of pain ( ... )

Fingers trace lightly along skin, following the outline of one of the tattoos slowly. She'd woken earlier than was normal for her but was too cozy, warm, and lazy to actually move from the bed. That coupled with the fact that her bed partner was still sleeping had lead to her current activity. Tracing swords and watching the muscles and skin shift slightly beneath her light touch.

"You're not sleeping."

The sleep laced rumble made her pause because she hadn't noticed when he'd come closer to waking. "Woke up," she murmured back as her fingers continued their path down one of the blades.

He shifted, quick as ever for someone still slightly asleep, pulling both of them into a comfortable curled up position. Her squeak of surprise at the movement was followed by a soft rumbled chuckle from him.

The soft scrape of teeth along her throat pulled a low, rumbling purr from her as his warmth and touch lulled her back into a light sleep. It had been too early to be awake anyway.

Rachel tossed and turned in the bed, little whimpers pulled from her throat at the images in her head, trapped in her dreaming. Every toss pulled at the sheets, tangling them about her and adding to the trapped feelings. Restricting her body movements with each turn ( ... )
