Ok, guys, I know I always say 'you don't have to read this, it's not important,' but this one actually IS important, and it's short, so if you're in the US, please read!!

I'm really upset that I can't go to this, becuase I'm working. So I figure the least I can do is get the message out a bit.

I'm gonna be watching out the window as people gather 50 ( Read more... )

::sigh:: Little too early. I could have done it on the 16th or something. I'll be packing all day Saturday, and my parents would never agree to drive me. But in less than a week, all these awesome things I've been wanting to do will suddenly be a possibility.

yeah, i totally understand. i was really bummed that i couldn't actually go, cause its RIGHT across the street from where i work. there's always all these posters up on the billboard where i work talking about protests and all these community events, and i'm always like 'wow! i should ttoally go to this!' and they're ALWAYS on weekend afternoons, and i'm all 'wtf? some of us WORK on weekends, you know! what the hell are WE supposed to do, just dip our balls in lava??"

but yeah, the stuff in the articles is totally doable. i really want to move to a place a in europe where I have a bit of outdoor land, so i can grow my own vegetables and fruits.

i feel like a friggin hypocrite lately though because i've been driving to work (i live like...a mile away) mainly because it's been cold, but i feel like it's no excuse.

hmm...maybe going to this will get me back to mah earth lovin' ways :)

Good! Fortunately, it's getting warmer and you can start exploring other ways of getting to work. Do you have a bike? Or is there a bus that goes that way? Or even walking, in nice weather, can be enjoyable. It gives you time to just think and listen to music and not feel totally bombarded by the obligations that permeate your daily life

I still feel bad about all the time I spent driving a gas-guzzling van around the country last year, but I figure, at least I'm not doing it anymore. I mean, you can't change the past, you can only learn from it and make good future decisions. As long as you're doing what you can, feeling guilty stops being productive or useful, so you might as well just not entertain it.

They are actually having one near us. Usually something like this is an hour or more drive away. Planning to go. Thanks for the posting.

Thanks for reading! So...forgive me if this is a memory lapse on my part, but have we met? Your name looks kinda familiar and I see you're in the godandmagic community, which I used to be in, but...I'm really bad with names, so I'm not sure if we've talked before or if you just followed a link here or what.

Love your icon, btw!
