We're back at sensei's place.... Dr. Melanie finally kicked us out of the infirmary, since we were crowding the place up. Apparently a lot of students working on a final project got caught up in an explosion.... I thought that sort of thing only happened to us. So Isolde-sensei got to go home, and they're going to have someone come out to check up

Vayne, if you went... What would we do here in the meantime? Just sit here helplessly waiting for you to return...?

I... I guess there's nothing that can be done. I mean... if you went, I'd just be sitting there also, and... I guess it's not like I mind that either, but I'd rather not see two people have to go through that extra suffering when it could just be me.

I'd... have the notebook, and it wouldn't be too long. If I did... then... I think I know where I'd want to go.

I can't speak for Isolde-sensei, but if it's only on my behalf and she doesn't need to separate from you, I should be the one to go. You've suffered enough lately already...

That wouldn't really solve it.... If it's you alone, then you can never be with me without being in her presence. It'll be just like it is now.... Whenever you're with me, you won't feel like you can have your privacy. The same for her, if she just goes.... She won't be able to see her Mana without someone else being there.

And... even if it were only one of you... I still want to be the one. I'm completely fine now, other than worrying about you.... And I'm a Mana, so I'm not at risk from monsters or anything, travelling in a weakened state.... It's just safer if I do it....
