you're spot on. that rilke excerpt is le sigh.

re auden: "two herculean eggs" and "byzantine dome of the head" are just fantastic phrases to throw around. i cant wait to use them.

haha, i thought the "byzantine dome" bit was kinda outrageous too. why is it so hard to write good poems about sex?
