Woohoo, I finally caught up with this fic. :D I found it via a rec post, and while I was a little sceptical -- I'm not a huge fan of Joshua/Neku -- I decided to give it a chance.

And damn, I'm glad I did. I love your characterisation, how you flesh out the world and the backstories of everyone, and how, while this does have a big focus on Joshua and Neku's relationship, still has its own plot. I love how complex and conflicted your Joshua is, that he isn't just a dick because... he is. There is a hell of a lot more to him, and I suspect we'll find out a lot more as the fic goes on. :) And for all the liberties you take, you still stay true to the original game, and I kind of love you for that.
