I'm not an expert, but I once played on on TV.

I have also watched lots and lots of documentaries.

I did have a course in Ornithology, but I wouldn't call myself an expert. The one tidbit I remember about penguins is that unlike other birds their feathers are not aligned in tracks. They are feathered all over to provide for more insulation.
