She was 94. Famous as the second of Steed's women in the original The Avengers, she preceded Mrs. Peel and left the series to be a Bond girl in Goldfinger. Her death was unrelated to COVID

I misspoke. She was the second of Steed's partners. The first season he had Dr. David Keel, played by Ian Hendry. I don't think I've seen any of those.
