Played a pretty cool dice game tonight: all you need is 6d6

A friend learned it at a steampunk con in San Deigo from a bunch of pirates and taught it to us tonight

It's good. It's fast, because the dice go around the table only once. And it's portable, since it's only 6d6. And the rules are nice and simple.

I remember seeing a game that I thought was suppose to be from Pirate times in a catalog some where. Maybe National Geographic. Not sure if it was the same game though.

Do you play this alone or with someone else?

It's a group game for 2+. I have a few different board games that I can play solo if I so desire, such as Castle Panic or Flash Point: Fire Rescue.

I'm a Mahjong player when I'm on my computer and want to spend some time.
And when I'm not behind it, I grab a sudoku book and puzzle my heart out.
