Can't say it's been very much fun.

Personally, I'd rather head to Phoenix, but Russet doesn't want to. The site manager says power should be back tomorrow (see the reply to Jon below), so let's hope that pans out!

The site manager for the observatory is highly connected to emergency services and utilities for the area. He's pretty sure that power will be back on tomorrow, so it looks like we'll be spending another night here. As of right now, the town is still 96.61% without power.

Our dogs are VERY stressed! My wife is grabbing some shuteye right now, she'll take them for a pre-sunset run later, then we'll head down the mountain, grab some more stuff from the house, then go down to the mountain and pay someone to feed us.

They brought in crews from surrounding utility districts and now it's like 96% WITH power. It's quite something how they can turn these things around.
