It's one of my two last library classes to complete my degree. It's only an Associates in Library Science, which when coupled with $4.10, will get me a kid's meal at Burger King

I have to say I am surprised that libraries are still around. Here they are but are more populated in Paris near the schools of course. The local ones have limited hours and so limited staff. Sure, there are people that go there for the internet use of they don't have it at home but it's rare.
If this is an interest of yours though, that's cool!
This is a university library, so that's a bit different. Our city library is fairly busy, even though the city hasn't had a successful bond drive for it in 50(?) years - they've been stuck in the same building and have no additional space for all that time!
There's a lot of use cases: tax forms, genealogy research, town/city meeting archives, I could go own. And of course, research paper help. Librarians are really good at digging information out of internet search engines and are a lot better at teaching people how to discern fact from fiction on the internet. Critical thinking and ethics is a big part of library training.
My personal preference for 'hot out of the fryer' would be (when done properly) #1 BK or Wendy's #1.5 Carl's Junior (very close to #1) #3 Arby's #4 McDonalds
I've never been too keen on McD's.
I'd rate In-n-Out high, but more often than not their fries are not cooked properly. You're not likely to find them east of Tucson or Phoenix, they're mainly California.
For onion rings, not many people do them. I'd say #1 Carl's #1.2 Arby's #3 BK
Can't think of any other chain that do onion rings.
Our Lowe's grocery store opened a little micro brew bar that does pretty good burgers, and very good onion rings - I think they do vidallia onions, which are slightly sweet, or they might be doing a little bit of sugar in the batter. Either way, their rings are quite good.

A McDonald's kid's meal will do in a pinch if you just need calories, but their fries don't hold up over time.

I liked BK's when they tried to go crispy for a while years back. :)
