Hey guys! So on Saturday I went to the London Film and Comic Convention (it's kind of becoming a yearly tradition!) with flying_girl73 . Haha, okay then! The very careful initial pitch to my mum ('so. I uh, want to dress up as a cartoon unicorn') went okay yesterday so all systems are go.

Great pics! I went to LFCC last year with a friend but couldn't make it this year. Which video games con is on in Oct? Not that I could probably even afford to go as I'm going to a couple of other cons out of the country and the flights were expeeeensive, but now I'm curious! :D

Ngl, the sweatervest is an incredibly attractive part of the proposition. I have always wanted one!

Human Twilight Sparkle! Yesssssssss! I brought a Twilight costume to AX but didn't have time to wear her. Pony cosplay makes everything 20% cooler.

I love seeing pony cosplayers! Are there any tips you can pass along, especially as regards the wig (which seems to be the most challenging part)?

I used a straight purple wig and bought tiny colored weave clip-ins. eBay has a great selection of wigs and most beauty shops have clip-in colors.

PS: My friends did pony cosplay at Fanime. It was awesome.

Thanks! That's a big help. I'm a total cosplay noob so I really appreciate all the advice I can get :p

Your friends look fantastic! Hands-down the best Applejack I've seen so far.

It looks like you had so much fun! I always love seeing all the different costumes. The con I went to earlier this summer had a group that went as the entire set of TF2 characters.

Love that Susan and Death picture. :D

And human Twilight Sparkle could be amazing! Go for it!

Dressing up is so much fun! I'm going to another Con in August, and I'm doing another costume - it's a three day con, so I get to dress up more than once!
