It felt right that she wasn't the same as before.

Hm, Lee tastes a lot like Zuko. I don't know if I'm simply affected by the fact that he canonically used it as a covername...

Noo, that was deliberate! Lee is a lot like how I'd imagine Zuko as an adult- stubborn, a touch over-dramatic, but willing to learn from his mistakes (and his name comes from Piandao's 'There's a million Lees'. It's obviously like John in the Fire Nation or something :p).

OH MAN. The Air Nomad-tan is the thing that most unsettles me about the concept of Avatar Nations--I have a problem with likable characters being unequivocally dead--but this definitely helps. WRITE MORE OF THIS UNIVERSE.

The Air Nomad-tan is this big thing that hangs over the concept, definitely. I couldn't in good conscience bring Tseten back exactly as she was- she represented something very specific that wasn't there any more, and like I say in the fic, it'd be like undoing what the Fire Nation did. But I liked the idea that someone like her would come back when Aang had sufficiently rebuilt.

I'm glad you want more! I really need to examine the other nations. I feel like I've neglected them.

I like this, very much, especially the mood of the piece-- bittersweet but ultimately very hopeful. Favorite part is probably the beginning (the second paragraph! So good.) and the way you deal with characterizing these nations/beings. You should totally continue with this concept, as limitless as the possibilities are! (You must write fic of Lee interacting with Zuko someday, you must.)

I'm thrilled you liked it, especially because I was so iffy about it myself. Sometimes it's best to just step back and accept other people's opinions, I guess (especially when they say nice things :p)

Lee meeting Zuko would probably create an infinite emo feedback loop. Not that they probably haven't already interacted, I mean Zuko is royalty and all-

Oh no. Azula.

Yeah, when it comes to Zuko and Lee, I foresee opportunities for both terrible angst and lulz. Which always happens when you put two people with a penchant for dramatics together!

When it comes to Azula: DDD:
