Nov 07, 2011 18:00

Who: Tatsuki, Yosuke, any characters who saw this post and know where to look. (PM first, though.)
What: Tatsuki enters the TV world to face her true self. On purpose.
Where: Shadow!Nautilus
When: November 7th, evening.
Warnings: It's a Shadow fight. There will be graphic violence and foul language, neither of which I can emphasize enough.

And all this time we've waited, just to see hope decimated by the setting sun )

[It's only a few moments later that Yosuke walks up, looking... well, different. The happy go lucky smile is gone, and though he's been serious before, the look he wears now is a different sort of serious. He's focused, like nothing he's done in his life has mattered so much as the next few hours will]

[Headphones around his neck, he's as ready as he's ever going to be. Even if he still can't believe it. He may be better off having faced his shadow, but... was it something he would have ever done voluntarily? It's hard to be certain]

[Setting his thoughts aside, he nods at Tatsuki and puts a hand into the TV]

Whenever you're ready.

[Initially, she's lost in her thoughts, but snaps to attention at the sound of Yosuke's voice. She blinks twice, shakes her head, and rises to her feet.]

Just waiting on you.

[She wraps an arm around him, holding herself close to him so that she doesn't lose him on the way in.]

Let's go, kiddo.

The landing's never easy. [He manages a small smile - the last she's likely to see for a little while]

So brace yourself!

[And with that he drags the two of them inside, the sensation of falling almost... familiar, and it's conflicting. This is something he knows, something that doesn't feel as foreign as Nautilus once did and it almost puts him at ease. But of all the times he's gone into the TV world to save someone, this is the one he's felt least sure about. Least confident. And what was he thinking going by himself?]

[But his train of thought is suddenly cut off by their landing on the hard ground of the TV world. Home sweet home]

[Well, he landed on the ground, at least. She just landed on top of him. It was amazing how different such a familiar position seemed to feel. Moreover, it was amazing how different a little fog made such a familiar place look. They'd landed right in what was, by all appearances, the electronics section of Junes. It was just as that reality storm had left the place.

She rose again to her feet. Immediately, she began to doubt her decision. A lingering sense of dread hung thick amidst the fog, soaking into her mind like water to a sponge.]
