Thane was gone, now. Just up and vanished without a trace. While the drell was one hell of an assassin, it just wasn't like him to do that without telling someone on their team. He was just... gone. And so was Kyle. Whether or not they'd both gone back to Sleep, he'd deal. For now, he had somewhere to be, someone to see.
Because he still remembered trying to help with first aid, trying to get her to sleep. Remembered how devastated she'd been when -- when Kyle had died.
He saw her mouth move, but wasn't near enough to overhear her. Glancing around, he stepped forward, approaching her cautiously. Just because he was the only turian-shaped being in Nautilus didn't mean she wouldn't be jumpy. Especially since the area suddenly felt s little like...
Like the derelict Reaper had. A sense of lurking menace, just below the surface.
His hand reached for his rifle as he came up beside her. "Please tell me I'm the only one feeling that," he said.

She had taken note of Thane's disappearance as well, the fact that her crew kept coming and going bothered her. It made her think, what would she do if Garrus disappeared too? She tried not to think of that, and instead focused on the issue at hand.
She waved her hand abstractly, clearing the dust swirling around. Her eyes scanned the area and she caught sight of both Garrus and Aya. Her lips quirked slightly when she heard Garrus speak and she shook her head a bit.
"No, you're not the only one." She replied, walking slowly closer towards them.

“No.” Aya’s voice was shaky, but somehow she managed to hold back the fear tide and speak coherent words. She looked over to Garrus and Shepard as they arrived, her jaw stiff. “I feel it, too. Makes me sick to my stomach, too.”
Like a scream inside her mind, she could feel it.
“This is wrong...”

The commander's presence was a reassurance. He shot her a long look, before ducking his head. Their responses, though, weren't what he wanted to hear. And, quite honestly, there was only one thing he could say to that.
"Crap."
He felt his jaw clench, and drew himself up a little straighter.
"Whatever's happening... it's affecting the heart, too, isn't it."
