"Nope!"

A shout sounded out, muffled behind the wooden walls, followed by the sounds of feet shuffling and drawers frantically opening and closing. On the opposite side of the hall, another door opened behind Yosuke's back. "Close, though!"

Tatsuki stood in the doorway, a smile on her face as she hurried to dry her hair. It could be argued he picked the right door, of course; she was fresh out of the shower, and the mistake gave her an extra couple minutes to actually put on a t-shirt and jeans, the former of which was noticeably soaked around the neckline. "You got good timing, though," she continued, tossing the towel blindly at the hamper. "I just need to find my shoes, and I'll be set."

Well, at least he was in the right district. With how bad his nerves had been an hour ago, he wasn't even sure he'd get that right. He'd even taken the time to try and find Chie's stuffed frog to rub for luck, but he hadn't managed to locate it so he'd gone without. Turning around, he smiled at her, glad he hadn't dressed himself up from his normal T-shirt and slacks. He'd feel out of place next to her - or she'd feel compelled to dress up, and he really liked the casual look on her. A t-shirt and jeans just seemed right.

Of course, the wet hair and collar didn't go beneath his notice, but he tried to keep his brain from picturing her in the shower. Drooling while thinking pervy thoughts wasn't exactly the best way to start a date.

Well, at least not the first date.

"No rush! We've got all day, right? I can just wait out here while you finish getting ready."

"Oh, well in that case, gimme an hour or so while I get my hair and makeup done." If her tone didn't make it obvious she was kidding, the very idea of her in makeup had to, or else he was even dumber than she'd pegged him for.

Her sneakers were right by the door where she'd left them, so it took less than a minute before she was set to go. She laced up, stood up, and turned to face Yosuke. "So, where to? I picked the place last time, so I figure it's your turn."

He laughed at her off-hand comment, then took a moment to try and picture her with her face plastered in make-up like the city girls loved. The image refused to form in his mind, and he was glad - somehow, thinking of her like that just seemed wrong. Horribly wrong. Sure, sometimes a little makeup really made a girl shine, but as he looked her over in casual outfit, he found himself vastly preferring this look.

Go figure.

"Well, I figured we'd grab a bite to eat first. There's a pizza place in this district right?" He smiled sheepishly as he held up his umbrella. "Only brought one though, so if you'd rather go somewhere drier or something, I'm okay with that."
