It made noise, that chunk of metal. Beyond the rev of the engine and the sound of the tires rolling over the ground.
While the rabbit was hard pressed to comprehend some of the complexities of spoken speech, it understood when it was being threatened or insulted. Its foremost pair of sickly green eyes, the ones actually affixed in its skull as opposed to those down along its flanks, narrowed. Its jaws snapped once...
...and then it was charging forward with surprising speed for something that big and heavy. Mouth open, it had its sights locked on the car's leading bumper...

Toxic!? He would have begged the thing's pardon had he known. Lubricants he couldn't help - and he had those aplenty - but he ran on very clean-burning hydrogen gas, thank you very much! Or...well...normally he did, Bending to keep his tanks full. At the moment, he was clearing out the last of the common gasoline he'd been forced to accept last week when Bending had been blocked and he had not "topped his tanks off" before that - a mistake he'd not make again. Nevermind that the rabbit itself had a face not even a mother could love, it smelled like garbage and had a shriek that sounded like stuttering nails on a chalkboard.
The sight of the car suddenly shifting onto its passenger tires alone didn't deter the EVO, even though the sound it made was harsh on those long ears. However, the rabbit didn't want to bring its claws into play so much as simply bite and tear. The change in the situation threw it off a bit, forcing it to put the brakes on and use all six legs to dig in and turn, claws ripping into the concrete and asphalt below. It still slid behind KITT, but not by too much. If the car did fire the grappling hook, it would catch...but likely at close range as the EVO whirled around to compensate for the miss ( ... )
