Sleep? Who needed sleep in Nautilus? What was sleep, anyway? It was a minor necessity to claim normalcy, that's what it was. And much like Axel, Xemnas had no need for it.

Instead, the familiar portal of darkness appeared and fluctuated nearby, letting the First exit with little proclamation, dispersing as soon as he stepped away from the shadows. His eyes settle upon Axel with that same solemnity he always held with no intention of giving any sort of greeting.

Xemnas walked forward. The distance between the Nobodies shrank considerably. Then he stopped again. Another look was given, but (amazingly) there were no words.

From that point, he turned, opting to sit on the other end of said bench.

Damn it, Xemnas. hellbornhuntrss November 19 2010, 02:05:10 UTC
Why did it have to be in the morning. Normally nocturnal, Rip van Winkle had struggled in the past few days to amend her sleep schedule, which was hardly easy. Tony's return to sleep still depressingly fresh in her mind, the vampire forced herself to hold her feelings at bay, not allowing the slightest thought of him to cross her thoughts. Now was not the time to fall apart. Fortunately, keeping busy helped to alleviate some of the tension she carried with her as she walked tiredly to meet Axel.

She brought weapons. She brought food. She brought a camera, and most of it was tucked away in a leather bag slung behind her back. The musket was, as always, in one or both hands.

"Who else are ve vaiting for?" Rip remarked, blinking in rapid succession in order to keep sleep at bay, looking between Axel and Xemnas.

Xemnas sitting so casually on the same bench as him without a single word said was admittedly a little strange. But Axel refused to let it get to him, simply letting the silence hang until someone else arrived. Fortunately, that didn't take very long ( ... )

The World That Never Was flame_flurry November 22 2010, 12:57:04 UTC
Proof of Existence was, first and foremost, a sloped room. A pathway cut through the middle, leading to a circular doorway through which a flight of white stairs could be seen. From the edges of this doorway -- atop which the roman numeral I was engraved -- were purple lines spreading out along both walls and ceiling like circuitry; these lines flowed with some sort of light, but were native to this world, and bore no trace of Isis' influence ( ... )

Again, sorry about small tags, work's been killing me lately. hellbornhuntrss November 23 2010, 00:38:27 UTC
It was hardly the first time Rip had entered an ominous castle. Decorative elements were particularly important to the Nazi movement; every bit of architecture seemed designed to intimidate. She stared around at the red letters, calm and with a tired kind of boredom.

"Feeling nostalgic?" she asked Axel, and stepped away from where they had entered in order to allow the second pair entrance through to the room.

It's cool cool~ not_obsess3d November 23 2010, 03:11:48 UTC
A deeper voice answered.

"The possibility of feeling can only be realized through thorough mimicry. But...if you do need some sort of response..." Well, it was clear the other two didn't take too long in showing up. Xemnas took a moment to pause, letting his gaze fall across the headstones. He wasn't going to say anything outright because it wouldn't be like him to state otherwise.

And hey - if the architectural design worked for them, it worked for anyone.
