The walk between the Western District, where he still resided, and his sweets shop in the Southern District afforded Legato with plenty of time to take in the scenery. A rather silly idea, he supposed. But trees had been nearly nonexistent on Gunsmoke: to see them growing in such abundance still required quite a bit of adjustment. He wondered if his Master would appreciate this particular area of Nautilus ( ... )

Mostly, it was just a matter of exploration and wandering. Perhaps to be sure that no more lingering children are lost out here. It does, after all, seem to be the trend.

However, he does find himself locating the theater, if only because he does have some relatively fond memories of it. It's an interesting place, and he'd surely like to watch more films one day. Perhaps with Alexandra as well, when she's... not upset with him.

For some reason. Was he always this awkward with women?

It's easy to notice Aya, as he's familiar with her by now. Much to his relief, he's rid of both canine features and fleas, so hopefully no more unfortunate experiences anytime soon.

Then there's this stranger, who he recalls has a faint fondness for sweets, apparently.

"Good evening," he murmurs politely to the pair.

Really, though, who would want to watch a film about such a tragedy?

Aya turned her head as soon as she noticed someone approaching. It was Legato. She didn’t look too surprised since, well, he did seem to spend a lot of time in the Southern District. She could think of worst company to find herself in ( ... )

Movie theater...?

Legato looked over the building itself, trying to recall where he may have heard that term. He was quite familiar with theater itself, naturally, and he remembered hearing about movies before. Something to do with moving pictures: a type of lost technology. Much like the images that were transmitted over the network, he supposed.

Concluding that a movie theater must be a place where people went to watch such broadcasts, he turned his attention away from the building once again. The man who had arrived was an unfamiliar one: Legato greeted him with a expressionless nod of acknowledgment. Human, by the looks of him. Then again, Aya had appeared quite human as well.

Looking towards the shorter woman again, he said, "I must admit, I've only heard of such a place in passing."
