He had been planning to do this for weeks. Naturally Things Came Up, and there was no getting around duty. For a place where people didn't seem to die permanently, they sure did a lot of it.

But everyone was entitled to a break now and then, and Death had finally decided to take one. There was a handy thing about being able to ignore silly, mortal concepts like distance and time; being in a place that he wanted or needed to be never took much more than a thought, and perhaps minimal effort around this place. Thus was why he had been able to circumvent everyone's notice. Well, until now.

AH...

It was an incredibly awkward sounding "AH," but the situation might have been a little awkward. After all, here was a seven-foot skeleton lounging in a bubbling hot tub with rose petals dancing amongst the bubbles. He didn't understand the purpose of the rose petals, and imagined it would be quite a mess when he got out.

I CAN LEAVE, IF YOU'D PREFER. THIS WAS JUST AN...EXPERIMENT, OF SORTS, he continued, ( ... )

"An experiment? Then by all means," insert sweeping hand gesture here, "continue. I'm not one to stand in the way of science." Oh, the delicious irony of that sentence.

He took a seat at a stone bench that was placed along one wall, crossing a leg over another, more or less just watching. A skeleton in a spa. Conducting experiments on whether or not it could feel the water? What was touch without skin to cause the senses?

But more importantly... Why would the anthropomorphic symbol of Death want to take a dip in a spa to begin with? There was that small fascination- if he could call it that- with that "being" to begin with. What was it like to be death itself? He lived without a heart; did that not make Death kin to the Nobodies as well?

Breaking the awkward silence, "may I ask you a question ...Death?"

At least you didn't wake up with QWERTY on your face. AND DEATH HAS NO INTERNAL ORGANS lastminutestuff March 28 2010, 20:18:56 UTC
((OOC: Although if you mean in the figurative sense...))

I HAD BEEN INFORMED BY YOUR SUPERIOR THAT IT WAS MEANT TO BE SOME FORM OF RELAXATION FOR YOU MORTALS.

He swirled the water with his hand. I HAVE YET TO SEE THE POINT... UNLESS HUMANS ENJOY BEING SLOWLY COOKED.

The brilliant blue eyes flickered as they looked over the bubbling waters again, glowing lights so deeply inset into the shadows of his skull, and yet were one to try staring into them, it was like looking into the depths of space to witness the birth of a super nova light years away. It was a surprisingly pensive look that seemed to touch Death's face, despite the fact that he lacked the facial muscles or features to properly mimic such expressions. Experimentally he poked a finger at a bubble.

HM? OH, YES...OF COURSE. GO ON THEN, he replied as he glanced over towards Marluxia.
