Well, if it starts writing back to you, I suggest you stab it.
And the city does give you odd gifts sometimes. It's quite pleasant, actually.

I wouldn't be surprised, in this place. If a city itself starts acting on its own... Ah, well, at least the city seems kind enough, giving gifts like that. Even if it is a little odd.

The city has a heart as well; when Isis came here, she twisted things into order and...well. It wasn't pleasant...
You'll get used to it. Then again, the world I came from was much odder.
