I've been keeping up a route around the place, but I wouldn't mind joining into something with a little more organization. Now that I'm reduced to my base speed, I'm afraid my search time has gone beyond the comfortable.
Perhaps we can figure something out. Even at your base speed, you're faster than the newcomers here, which means you would be able to get them to safety much more quickly should it be needed.
That's honestly the biggest concern. With Bending as it is, we can't just have people teleport the newcomers out. At least this way there are already people in position to help immediately.
[That's funny. Isn't this what Drift said last time when things started going weird because of the Dark Aeon? Didn't people ignore him until Wing brought the same thing up?]
I work alone.
You should be concentrating on the medbay. Let those of us who know what we're doing do what we're best at.
I'm not trying to boss anyone around. I just was thinking it might be a good idea to have people in each district ready and moving. If something happens then, they're in a position to immediately evacuate newcomers and noncombatants to safer places, so that anyone with the necessary skills can focus on dealing with whatever the threat is, rather than on how to get people out.
I don't mean to step on your pedes, Drift... it was just a thought. If you have any suggestions on what to do, please share.
I just... don't like waiting like this, feeling like I'm sitting on my hands.
Problem seems to be too many people trying to take charge and not listening to each other.
[He's not dumb enough to try to take charge himself; no one would listen.]
You should be doing something then. Like food. [It's not as sexist as it sounds: energon is running low. And unlike humans, most Cybertronians can't eat stuff they find in the forest.]
It might also be good if- non-combatants move into the Welcome Houses temporarily. Phineas made some shielding for them, back around Christmas, that might still be active, but even if it isn't, it'll be easier to be sure that everyone's okay or get them to help.
Good idea. The less spread out everyone is, the easier it will be to keep them safe. Might not be a bad idea to make sure the kitchens are as well-stocked as we can manage too, just in case. I'll be getting together energon for us, but it's not like humans can have that.
With any luck we won't need to worry about that, but it's better to be overprepared than go without.
The food market is still fully stocked. I wish I knew more about what makes good emergency supplies, besides rice and frozen meat and vegetables, assuming we don't lose electricity.
I'm not entirely certain... but canned goods? Or the stuff in jars? From what I've learned, that keeps the longest. Might want to make sure there's water too, you guys need that more than the food, don't you?
About how big is this city, anyway? I mean, really, even if you got every person who lived here to patrol for...something...how far along would you get?
It's a good-sized city, but with as many Cybertronians as we've got, and skilled scouts, covering ground isn't too hard.
I'm honestly more concerned with making sure everyone is safe. We've got quite a few noncombatants, and without Bending, they've lost their best defense. Best idea now, would be to stick close to the Welcome House, just in case.
I don't know. People here tend to be way, way smarter than the people from my world. Once they see danger, they'll know to stay away from it and go inside. Or something.
I can scout too, y'know. Hey, is it true that the Western District has trees with human hands? And what's with the giant spiders?
Well... I do have to go looking myself. You could come with me? You seem observant, that could be useful.
[She likes you kid, doesn't want anything happening to you. And has pegged you as the sort to run off and do something anyways if you think you can. So best to find a middle ground!]
The West? Yes, there's... some odd things out there. The spiders, I honestly couldn't say. Most things that change in Nautilus do so because of the people that live there. It's why the North District has Cybertronian-style buildings now.

[Because you are not a military leader, sorry.]

Hm. That's a good point. I'll see what we can get together.
