[Medbay. Arcee. Right. So we put the homicidal killer in the Medbay. Nautilus, you have a vicious humor.]

...thought you were a 'teacher'.

[....NON-STALKER HOBBIES, SWEET PRIMUS.]

[And yeah. That door? Pretty damn sturdy. You'd have to ram it for a good long while to get it down like that.]

[Other than scaring the femme out of her plating, a quick glance at the security feed shows her who's outside, and she's quick enough to open the door.]

That was quick.

[...he doesn't have any! D:]

[Well, at least that's reassuring. Nice, sturdy doors. As long as the Bending held, of course.]

[He's shoving at it, to find a way to knock it off frame, if possible, when Arcee opens it. So, hello, have a large white robot stumbling into your Medbay.]

[He frowns, straightening up.]

...that a problem? [Were you trying to hide something, perhaps?]

[Oh no. those doors stay right where they're supposed to.]

[Arcee raises her hands to help steady him when he stumbles, with a light chuckle.]

No, no problem. [Pff whatevs. B\]

[He's noticed. ]

[Drift jerks away from Arcee's hands. He doesn't need help. Least of all her help.]

Good. [He studies Arcee. She seemed...small. Really? The Combaticons were afraid of this?]

So. Show me around. [He throws it like it's a challenge.]

[Woah. Touchy, touchy. However, she'll just pull her hands back, not saying anything about that.]

[The only fear she can attest to is the dread of students faced with a pop quiz.]

Alright. It's a pretty straightforward layout, really.

[Is just gonna move to lead him further in, not at all ruffled by his tone.]

[He's not a touchy-feely mech.]

[Drift grunts.] Straightforward normally means 'easy to defend once the door's breached.

[He follows after Arcee, attention split between the building and, well, Arcee. ]

SO. [He barks, loudly.] How'd you get interested in studying Cybertronian anatomy again?

[So she's noticed.]

The security system locks down all the doors and windows, sealing them off behind blast shields. You can bypass a single one without unsealing them all so long as you have the proper code for the door or window you want open.

[She makes sure to show him the side doors and the back entryway as well, knowing he's going to want to see all the ways in and out.]

[His loud outburst earns a jump from the femme who pauses, peering back at him] Ratchet was the City medic while he was here. He was offering lessons on medical work so there would be a larger pool of skilled hands if something happened. It was the best way to make myself useful.

And who has the proper codes?

[Drift stalks after her, eyeing her closely. Maybe this was the wrong way to go about it. ]

Why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself.

Before Nautilus.

Codes go to Medbay residents. Also, Ratchet gave them to some of the Ascended, such as Lelouch and V.

[She just... looked at him a moment, rather bewildered at the sudden shift in questions. But... maybe he was one of those suspicious types. So, she'd oblige him.

As well as she could.]

I can't say I'm that interesting. Was a teacher before the War. When it broke out... well, I volunteered, and was trained for Intel work. [Small little shrug.] Not sure what you want to know about. Pretty open ended question.

...and me. [HINT. He would like your Medbay codes, Arcee. And look, he's asking so nicely.]

And Wing. [The two best fighters in Nautilus: it makes sense.]

[He had no idea who Pink and Crazy was before the war. Teacher? Maybe. All he knows is there are rumors she's so uncontrollable that her own side have a device set to crush her spark if she disobeys.]

It was open-ended. [See? He's being agreeable.]

[Until, that is, he moves his hands to his swords, ready to draw them.] What about Jhiaxus? [He is ready for CrazySplosion.]

That's not a bad idea, if you're helping with defenses. [The segue to Jhiaxus? She's not sure what to make of that.]

Jhiaxus? What about him? [She's... not sure what to make of him and his agressive attitude, but it's making her jumpy, unable to help glancing at those swords he carries.] I'm happy to say that I've not had anything to do with that nightmare.

((ooc: Given there's no canon mention of him, I'm just gonna say that yeah he was there, and he had a reputation, but Arcee didn't have any contact with him. XDDDD;;;))

I'll...make sure to remind you. [Since you're being so agreeable now, it's obvious it's all just an act.]

[He notices the way her optics jump to his hands, his swords.] Oh? [He steps a little closer, pitching his voice low.] Something making you nervous, Arcee?

((ooc: works for me!))

[That? Oh, that's setting off every 'STRANGER DANGER' instinct Arcee has. But where they are, she doesn't have a clear shot to an exit, so... she just shakes her head, trying to remain calm.]

This situation's just got me on edge is all. [Not entirely a lie. Though Drift looming so menacingly certainly wasn't helping matters.]

[And Drift will make sure she doesn't get a clear shot for an exit.]

Is that all? I suppose it would be frightening to someone who was only a teacher.

[He leans closer, pinning her closer to the wall, one hand on the wall by her shoulder, blocking her in.]

You can tell me, Arcee.

[The femme is more than a little flustered by this new development, taking a step back, though her frame stiffens when her back comes into contact with the wall.

Expression turning somewhat stern, she turns a level gaze at Drift.]

Drift, you need to back off. [Level tone, even if at the moment she's more nervous than anything.]
