Hm.
Quite an interesting world to have wake up to. I suppose it is convenient since I am actually asleep in my own world. Still, I wonder if it is in Her plans to have me here rather than there.
Infinite in mystery is the gift of the Goddess
We seek it thus, and take to the sky
Ripples form on the water's surface
The wandering soul knows no rest.

Genesis smirks a bit into the camera, tilting his head, his earring glinting in the light. Genesis' outfit is a little different, along with his slightly longer and wilder strands of hair, but still in that same iconic hair style. Not to mention the thick braid going down his back.]
Well, well, if it isn't Zack Fair. The dead walk in this world?

I...
What happened to you?
Reply
Nothing happened. It has simply been about three years since I last saw you.
[He's not about to explain getting kidnapped to Deepground and whatnot just yet.]
Are there any others from Gaia here? Actually, could you tell me what world I am in now?
Reply
So you... knew about that? Where were you, during everything? When I left you, you didn't look that good.
[There might be time to explain things later. Right now, he's... well, he's not sure what he's supposed to be feeling. Happiness? Anger? Relieved?]
You're in a place called Nautilus - not on Gaia or the Lifestream. This's a whole new dimension completely, an' you just Woke up from a Dream. Basically, how you exist now? This's your real self, and your body's on pause back on Gaia.
I'm here in the South with Sephiroth, Cloud, and Tifa at the moment; you in the West?

[An... odd place, to say the least. Though the comment about being on pause draws another chuckle.]
As if being "on pause" will make a difference. As I said, I was asleep. Or, to be more precise, sealed away where I cannot be found. I wasn't due to awaken any time soon, so I suppose this place will have to do, hm?
But that's a story I'll tell another time.
[He looks around and you get a big chunk of green scenery in the view. Yup, he's in the South too]
I wouldn't know, considering I don't have a map to let me know where I am.

[Zack never sensed him in the Lifestream, so that had to have meant he'd lived. And... since there wasn't any known way off Gaia, Genesis had to have been hiding somewhere. But where, and why?
But he stops short at the rest of the explaination, his anger starting to diminish. That sounded... familiar, in a sense.]
I... oh. [Did he do it to himself, or did someone do it to him? He definately had a lot of questions for the fellow SOLDIER, once he got someplace more solid.
He's already starting to sit up, grabbing his keys off a nearby table.]
Stay there. I'll... I'll come to you, alright? But you have to give your word to behave around Sephiroth - we just had a storm that involved an illusion of you and he's probably paranoid.
Reply
[He honestly doesn't know where to begin. He was around when Sephiroth started terrorizing the people but he honestly didn't know what to do. Then he'd heard AVALANCHE was involved and he simply stayed in the shadows.
He wasn't needed, so why interfere?]
Yes, I'll behave.

Good. Just sit tight and I'll be right over.
And Genesis?
Try not to kill anything this time, huh?
[Actionlog? :Da]

What do you think I am going to kill? The trees?
[He flips the phone shut and awaits Zack's arrival.]
Reply
...o rite cause he's a hero and you're sephiroth's friend. Damnit.
BUT ANYWAY hope you like small, uncomfortable motorcycles, since that's what's gonna be roaring your way. It's about the same as the one used on the highway, except a little more polished.
And there's a dorky-looking passenger seat with your name on it.]
Reply
Still, he waits for the roaring motorcycle to come to a halt in front of him.]
You are certainly quick.
Reply
Village's just down the road. You didn't pop up too far away, after all.
[But still, there's a wariness to his tone, his demeanor. What was Genesis like now, several years after Zack himself was gone...?]
Looks like you kept our promise, at least.
Reply
Mm, good to know I wasn't truly in the middle of nowhere.
[Genesis can tell, but it isn't unwarranted, he understands.]
I had no reason to break it, not that I make a habit of it anyway.
