Hmm yeah I guess I haven't done light blobs in a while. I started doing more complicated graphics and making icons from them and then I'd add light blobs and it looked like too much. And then I discovered that light textures were more fun and effective in a subtle way? Idk I just got into a habit of using textures instead of brushes xD

Light textures are GOLD! Your use of them is...too great for words. XD

I'm still not that good to pick/choose textures, so I use brushes alot..mostly to paint over and to add colors. XD But once I did managed to somehow choose the right one, it does look pretty good. Whoever started this is GENIUS!

I used to use mainly brushes but I loooove textures now, and once you play with them enough you find ways to use them that you never would have guessed before, which is the best feeling.

This is a beautiful batch! My favourites are the ones I already commented on at wonderous-stuff, but also 4, 12, 29 (the misty greens fit so beautifully) and 38 (that composition! The contrast between the black-and-white and the colour!). ♥
