Over the last day or two about half the tadpoles have suddenly grown front legs! They look at lot more like frogs now, rather than just vaguely frog-reminiscent blobs with no arms.

So only half of them have arms? The rest better hurry up or they're going to fall behind in their art classes.

Not to mention English because I don't kow about you but when I was at school I had to write a shitton of essays for English and no arms would have made the whole situation even more horible

The wiki says they absorb their fins by apoptosis so some of that poo in the water might be remnants of the membranes they're sloughing. Cool though :)

You should totally get an axolotl.

Hopefully they will soon stop producing so much biological waste matter of all kinds!

I think I would get pretty bored with an axolotl, I like my pets to do things! Tadpoles are cool because you get to witness a rapidly-changing life cycle.

I think my next creature-acquisition will be an ant colony, I have all the stuff already, I just need to order a queen.

I have a ant-colony container standing in the livingroom now for almost two years... emmpty.

It's a cool space-age NASA thing, with only blue gunk...

Hmmm... yes... with them growing like this, you could soon start some business in selling familiars to unholy witches and the like...

(or do they only want toad instead of frogs? Hmmmm...)
