Lynne's reason for disliking this particular Monday: after a weekend of sleeping in, eleven-AM still felt too early and she was stuffed up from what felt like a cold.
Sitting in class, she fished out a tissue and blew. This was what she got for accidentally leaving the window open night...
From where she was sitting it was relatively easy to keep an eye on the teacher and the windows when her mind occasionally drifted. And that's why she saw something dark zip across the windows.
She blinked. Was that....a bird? It didn't seem like it was-
Sneaking her cellphone behind her text book, she quickly typed out a message to ask the group to keep an eye on the windows and hit send all.
Seamus relaxed for a moment at his desk, having run over the math problems a few times. Everything checked out, at least.
From his pocket, his phone buzzed on vibrate mode. Lynne? Ah.. Look out for what, though? That was a bit cryptic, and after their battles not very welcome. Recouping at been hard, after all the energy he'd spent throwing spells.
to: group from: Seamus Why dont we meet @ lunch? ive got a bad feeling about this.
Lynne closed her hand around the phone, muffling the inevitable text. She waited for the next opportunity to sneak in a a reply, to an outside observer appearing very fascinated with her text book.
'That sounds like a gud idea....The lunch bell shud be ringin soon 2. Does out in the courtyard sound okay to every1?'
Kieran glanced over his phone, then let his eyes drift to the windows of the classroom. It was just as well for him to eat with those people, he supposed. After all, he was the one hoping for better group dynamics, no? Only way to learn to like people was to get to know them better. He sighed lightly and replied to the mass text. He was familiar with them since he used to get them pretty frequently from his soccer teammates.
{ Courtyard it is. }
Kieran sent the text out to the group. He then found himself distracted by the window for the duration of class. But he couldn't seem to find anything of particular interest.
