WHO: Seamus and Kieran WHERE: Corner of the Library WHEN: September 4th - Current ( backdated, progressive ) WHY: Passing Notes FORMAT: Paragraph, Notes ( What a complete waste of time... Kind of. )
Adessi Hall, famous for their education and Macaroni and Cheese. Okay, maybe not the last part (or the first? Seamus wasn’t really sure). However, as a student, you were assured one thing: Homework. Lots and lots of homework. Anthony was busy establishing things in the room and Seamus felt that he needed a little breathing room. Plus, the library had been one of his safe heavens. It felt natural to get back in touch with his ‘roots’ this year

Kieran had no reason to anticipate anything. When he went to the library the next day to catch up on some, again, not-yet-assigned reading, he was simply there to study. And he'd done just that, focusing on just that, for quite a long time. The situation with his room was still a little strange, so he'd simply decided that coming to the library to study everyday was just as well. Even if it was just for a little bit, it was worth it, and it was a lot less distracting in here. As he wrapped up a chapter summary, he closed his book after bookmarking it. Afterwards, Kieran pulled out his iPhone and tapped the button, checking the time. He still had a little bit of time before he had to head out and get to soccer practice. Sitting there for a moment, he was reminded of that silly thing he'd done the other day. It was really just a lapse of judgement... Doing something so stupid. God, this school isn't a time capsule, Kieran! Shaking his head a little, he huffed and walked over to the wall. He should just throw the stupid

Seamus had almost forgotten about the little brick and the note. Almost. However, mid way through the second day of school, he happened to run smack dab into a wall. Sometimes his life felt like one giant stand-up comedy gig. Though, smashing himself into the wall reminded him of the one loose brick, and then the fire was lit. Nothing would put out the burn to see if there was a reply

For once in his life, Kieran was anxious. So. Very. Anxious. Just the other day, he was going about his duties as he was meant to. Going from one thing to the next, always having a proactive purpose in what he was doing. But today? Oh, he was a bit of a mess. All he could think about was that stupid note he ended up taking back to his room. He'd re-read the damn thing about twenty or more times that night and the next day. Who wrote this? Would they have left another letter? Were they keeping his as some sort of joke or blackmail? These thoughts consumed him. Kieran knew that it was becoming an issue when he found himself in the library not to study, but to check that damned brick. The anticipation had kept him up last night, and finally after classes and work, he'd found the time to drop by and check for a reply. He was worried. He was nervous and a little scared. He was... excited

It was a relief to find a reply so soon after his own. Kieran had expected the other to give up on him after such a long pause. This person truly was his friend. There was a good amount of crushing guilt to accompany his relief, though.
{ I'm really, incredibly sorry about not keeping in contact.. Or at least giving you a heads up
