Lawrence walked into the dormitory building allowing the doors to close behind him. He had gone out for a quiet evening stroll after the weirdness that had just previously taken place in the attic. He furrowed his brow as he noticed a familiar person watching a movie, seated comfortably in one of the chairs.
He walked over to where Lynne was and couldn't hide the frown on his face.
"...What in the world are you watching?" He asked, with an indignant inflection.
"Oh, um..." Lynne hesitated for a moment but...well, even if it was for a younger audience the series seemed very good. And she didn't get why Lawrence was the one that looked indignant (aside from that seeming to be his default mode). She continued, "Watching Mary Sotter. There's a marathon being run right now so it seemed like a good way to pass the time."
Lawrence arched his brow at the mention of the name 'Marry Sotter'... what was it? Some sort of movie? She'd mention a marathon so was it a series? Surely they wouldn't air the same movie back to back, would they? Lawrence did not watch TV but he would have liked to believe they at least knew what the word 'marathon' meant.
"...Mary Sotter? Dare I ask what that might be?" He asked.
"It's a popular book/movie series," Lynne explained, half her attention being taken by the TV as Mary and her friends were trying to sneak past the Whacking Bush. She almost winced when Mary took a particularly hard hit. "It's about a girl whose parents were murdered by the Dark Lord Moldeport but she somehow survived the attack. She grew up unaware of this while she lived with her evil aunts before a magic cat finds her and tells her she's a witch. She gets sent to a school for witches and warlocks where adventures happen but the Dark Lord is still out there, waiting for revenge."
