Wonders never seemed to cease for Lawrence. First, he met someone new the day before and that very same night, he received an unexpected private message from Lynne over his journal to do some practicing at the warehouse. His first reaction was to give her a scathing reply and detail the horrid things that... furball of hers had put him through, but then reconsidered and decided to show for good faith. He could always passive-aggressively touch on Zelda's transgressions throughout the training. That seemed more favorable to him.
Seeing as how yesterday was Lawrence's first time in Abaton City, he had no idea how to get around. He asked a couple of people on the road (after much deliberation) about where the warehouse was, and they pointed the way out to him. After what seemed like hours of walking (but was actually only minutes at best), Lawrence finally noticed the familiar red-haired girl and approached her with his usual look of indifference.
Lynne waved as Lawrence approached her, pleasantly surprised he'd come, but the tone of his voice as he greeted her made her blink for a moment. She wondered for a moment, debating whether to bring it up, before she brushed that thought to the back of her mind. She didn't want to risk making conflict right from the get-go, or at all if she could afford it. That wasn't why she asked him out there, after all.
"Hey, Lawrence," she said, nodding. "I'm glad you made it."
Lawrence arched his brow as he considered Lynne's words carefully. Did she think he wouldn't show? Well, he suppose he couldn't blame her. He didn't have the best reputation among his team, and though his time on it had been short he had already amassed quite the reputation to begin with.
"Did you think I wouldn't show? I said I would, didn't I? I must admit, it took me a while to get here because I'm not... accustomed to walking around town like this, but I was able to find my way without too many detours." He looked around and surveyed his surroundings. The warehouse looked largely abandoned... a suspicious location, to be sure. "You've picked quite the place for this, you know..."
Lynne shook her head. "It's not that." She wouldn't lie that the thought hadn't crossed her mind that he might not but she hadn't been thinking about it seriously. "I was just a bit worried since you were running late. That's all.
"Well, if we were going to practice, somewhere where we wouldn't draw attention or do much damage seemed like a good idea. I saw this place on patrol once and it came to mind," she said, tugging at the door handle. The large door groaned from disuse and Lynne had to strain to get it to move for her. However, with some effort a large enough gap opened for them to pass through. Looking at Lawrence, she asked, "Do you have a problem with the place?"

"...Hello, Lynne." He said, frostily.
