Lynne hadn't decided whether to follow up on Lillian's invitation until her last class ended. She'd seen the post and it seemed way more likely that someone had misplaced the scarves. If they really had been stolen, it seemed more like something the police should look into instead. And if 'Istanbul' really wanted a stripped scarf, someone could just give him one from anywhere and he wouldn't be able to tell if it'd been one of the 'stolen' ones.
But when the bell rang she figured what the hell. She didn't have anything in particular to do today anyway. It could be interesting, and the closed room aspect of the situation appealed to her curiousity. It beat anything else she could be doing right now at least. So there she was at Goodwill, browsing the racks while she waited to see if anyone would show up. She looked up when she heard the door chime and saw Lily. With a short wave, she called, "Hey, Lily."
"Oh, hi, Lynne," Lillian greeted with a smile and headed toward her. "I'm glad you could make it. Have you found anything interesting so far?"
She was definitely pleased to see her there. Lillian had definitely liked what she'd seen of her so far, both in personality and behavior during the auditorium fight. While Lillian liked most post people or at least, didn't dislike them, it wasn't often someone that someone managed to really and truly impress her as Lynne had.

"Nothing yet," Lynne said, returning the smile. She put back what'd she been looking at back on the rack. "I was actually waiting to see who would come."

"Me, too," Lillian replied, toying absently with her a strand of her hair. "I'm not certain if anyone else is coming but I thought if anything else, this could be a good exercise in teamwork. And well," Lillian added a bit shyly. "I like meeting new people and making friends."
Perhaps it'd been a sort of lame thing to say but it was true, nonetheless.
