WHO: Lillian and Anthony
WHERE: Plush. Aka that fabulous beauty supply store that Anthony works at on the weekends.
WHEN: September 8th; a boring Saturday afternoon
WHY: It's Anthony's first day actually working, and Lilly supposedly stops by out of curiosity (and a desire to score some deals?)
Upon making his way through the clean, automatic doors, Anthony slid out of his red jacket immediately, folding it in half once, and then again into thirds as he tossed it over the counter while miraculously missing the lady who was working the shift before him. She was older than him, of course, but beautiful and in possession of a rather nice rack; which, as he would eventually find out, wasn't much different that the ladies who normally shopped at Plush. He couldn't really be sure why he was hired in the first place since he quite obviously lacked the same curves and knowledge as the other women, and the application to the store had been on an adventurous whim and wishful thinking in the first place, but who was he to complain when now destined to be surrounded by perky breasts and sun-tanned skin? It was hard to contain his excitement here~
He was handed to keys and given a rundown of the cash register, something Anthony caught onto after only one explanation. Simple keyboard presses was hardly much of a challenge to someone who memorized computer codes on a daily basis, and one who did calculus for fun. The teen was fiddling with the register as the woman packed up her things and ambled to the door, offering only a sweet wave before disappearing beyond with her cellphone in hand.
The store was left quiet save for the one teen now shuffling around while putting on his black apron, a silly part of the uniform -- the rest being black pants and a button-up shirt, usual things. He added a bow tie himself for the heck of it, but it wasn't necessary, being something he's only recently gotten in a habit of doing after a letter from Theodore saying that they were fine. Simple so far. He was told that the day would be an easy one, that he should just familiarize himself with the products and their placement for today, and actually try them out on his own time. Even the basic training was totally blown off, and the whole store was essentially all his. In truth, his manager was on lunch break and would be back sooner or later, and the phone was always at his disposal if there were questions. Anthony was hardly intimidated. After only a few minutes, he was scouting the store and memorizing where everything was.
The makeup rather was particularly curious, and Anthony stopped in front of it thoughtfully. He was bound to fail if a girl came in and asked about these things, but he also wasn't about to try shit on for fun. That was just weird.
However, he did start rearranging things once he realized one bottle of nail polish was sitting where the liquid eyeliner was meant to be, and that there was a mysterious lip liner in with the eyeliner pencils. Such a thing would never be okay for a guy with a minor OCD issue, and once he found one flaw, he was finding many more, until the point where he was eventually squatting in front of the lipstick and rearranging them by shades from light to dark, and from pinkest to brownest.
