WHO: Lynne, Lindsey, Lillian, Ama (COMBO BREAKER), and Oscar.
WHERE: The Auditorium
WHEN: September 14th, right after classes end for the day.
WHY: Because teenagers are stupid and deserve detention. Also personas.
(
There was never such thing as a peaceful school. )
"Ay Dios, lo siento," she whispered, barely audible over the shaking of the floor and the roar of the water from further away. A single thought yanked the wind forth again to drive the rocks up into a howling tornado of jagged earth that plowed mercilessly into the afanc.
And when the wind and the shrieking died down, there was nothing but silence.
Ama took a deep breath, punctuated by short gasps for air, and wobbled over to Lindsey to help steady him. It was better than dwelling on what had just transpired. And then, tiredly and to the group--
"Detention completed, si? ( ... )

"Hello?" He said with a sigh despite the fact that he was really quite amused. "If this is who I think it is, this call had better be important."

He didn't give the principal a chance to respond, he just hung up. Threatening the guy with the police was probably a bad move, and it would likely cost him later, but he really didn't give a damn at the moment. His head was starting to hurt, not to mention he was still bleeding. Lindsey was grumpy on the best of days, now he was just plain mad.

Within five minutes he was there, having courtesy enough for once to leave the paper airplanes and Mamba Juice in his office. He walked in expecting the absolute worse from there even though he maintained a calm expression. After all, he knew of what sort of damage a few of them were capable. An accident could have been very bad or very over exaggerated.
"Alright. What happened?"

"We were attacked by demons," Lillian responded in a quiet, low voice. "We defended ourselves, all of us were injured in the fight, and now we require some kind of medical attention. May we be excused to tend our wounds?"
Lillian broke off abruptly before the temptation to say something sarcastic in addition to her scanty report got too strong.

Raising an eyebrow at them, he looked over each one and counted visible injuries. No one looked dead. That was good. "The school nurse is still in downstairs in the gym's infirmary. Just say a set piece fell or something, and let me know if you need anything."

The school nurse couldn't heal them as well as Heather or Anthony could but she could provide bandages to cover up any cuts which would be helpful in warding off unwanted questions.
"Thank you, Mr. Ivors."
Lillian turned away and headed straight for the exit. The others could follow if they wished. If not, she knew where she was going.

... Maybe if Ezra or Rolf-- no. Setting the General on fire was probably a bad idea, but at times, it was just so tempting to wipe that exasperated look on his face. Did he think they were causing him trouble? He'd been the one to lock them in there in the first place, and he'd gotten them into the museum with the mirror fiasco! Sure, Ama liked her challenges, but this was getting absurd!
So she muttered something in Spanish that definitely wasn't "Gee thanks for your concern" and gave Lindsey a nudge towards the exit. He probably didn't need her support with his cane back in hand, but it never hurt.

He heard Amalia mutter something, and while he was no expert, he knew enough to hope the principal didn't speak Spanish with any amount of skill. It was a little bit of a struggle to keep the smirk off of his face, though. For what it was worth, he kind of liked this chick.
At Amalia's urging, he straightened- he'd be damned if he was gonna lean on her the whole way- and headed for the door.

Lynne wondered if he hadn't, if he'd lose that infuriatingly, condescendingly nonchalant attitude. Probably not. At least they could leave and, well, he was giving them an excuse. Even if he had locked them in in the first place.
She was too tired to fake much gratitude but she managed a grateful nod and left after the rest of them.

"Two of us have the power to heal wounds," she said after casting a quick glance around to make sure no stragglers were lurking around in the hallway. "A freshman boy named Anthony and a senior girl by the name of Heather. If you choose to seek them out, it would still be a good idea to ask the school nurse to bandage you up in case anyone sees you and stops to ask questions."
She stopped speaking for a moment, twirling a strand of her hair around a finger.
"And I'm willing to take a rain check on that meal should you find yourselves hungry one day and desiring company," Lillian added finally with a small smile.

Lynne felt her lips twitch with amusement at the mention of food. Between her annoyance with Mr. Ivors and the attack, she'd forgotten all about being hungry. Now, she was too tired and oddly wired to think too much about food. "I wouldn't mind taking you up on that sometime."

"Um, oh, how can I contact you? I've been working on gathering everyone's information so we can all keep in touch... Lack of communication has come up as a problem for us in the past."

She ruffled through her pocket for the small notepad she used to jot down story/letter reply ideas that came to her. She ripped out a page a blank page and wrote her cell number. "Here. Oh, and my online name is pen underscore vs underscore laptop."
