She didn't like this; Ama could jump into a fight with ease, and she was pissed, sure, but destroying - killing - demons had always left a dry taste in her mouth. She didn't know the story behind their being here, but it was true that the group had attacked first. But the beaver thing didn't look as if it could be calmed now, and between Lindsey running into her and the bites and giant claw marks that had made a home on her skin, she was left with no choice.

"Ay Dios, lo siento," she whispered, barely audible over the shaking of the floor and the roar of the water from further away. A single thought yanked the wind forth again to drive the rocks up into a howling tornado of jagged earth that plowed mercilessly into the afanc.

And when the wind and the shrieking died down, there was nothing but silence.

Ama took a deep breath, punctuated by short gasps for air, and wobbled over to Lindsey to help steady him. It was better than dwelling on what had just transpired. And then, tiredly and to the group--

"Detention completed, si? ( ... )

Said Principal Ivors was sitting in his office, blissfully ignorant of anything that had happened in the auditorium. Whistling happily to himself, he was folding paper airplanes in between sipping on a frozen fruit drink from the nearby Mamba Juice. He was killing time in his office the best way he knew how to while his students worked on the cleaning. And, actually, when his phone finally rang he was only surprised that they hadn't called him sooner. He reached over and lifted the antique-styled phone from its base.

"Hello?" He said with a sigh despite the fact that he was really quite amused. "If this is who I think it is, this call had better be important."

"Yeah, it's important. We-" A pause. Did the principal even know about this whole demon business? Well, if one of the girls chose to tell him when he got here, that would answer that question. "There's been an accident. We're all hurt, and need to get out of here. I'm not kidding, or trying to weasel out of detention, or whatever you probably think, so, you can either come unlock the door, or I can call the police and they can let us out. Your choice."

He didn't give the principal a chance to respond, he just hung up. Threatening the guy with the police was probably a bad move, and it would likely cost him later, but he really didn't give a damn at the moment. His head was starting to hurt, not to mention he was still bleeding. Lindsey was grumpy on the best of days, now he was just plain mad.

"Mind your tone. There's no reason to overreact, Mr. Gair. If I planned on leaving you there, I wouldn't have answered my phone. I'll be right down." He sat the phone down on its receiver and let out a second sigh that was much more genuine than the first. So much for a moment of peace.

Within five minutes he was there, having courtesy enough for once to leave the paper airplanes and Mamba Juice in his office. He walked in expecting the absolute worse from there even though he maintained a calm expression. After all, he knew of what sort of damage a few of them were capable. An accident could have been very bad or very over exaggerated.

"Alright. What happened?"

Five minutes wasn't nearly long enough to prepare for Principal Ivors, in her opinion, but Lillian would take what she could get in these circumstances. After the principal arrived, Lillian stood up carefully. When he asked his question, she turned to answer before the man could pass her by completely.

"We were attacked by demons," Lillian responded in a quiet, low voice. "We defended ourselves, all of us were injured in the fight, and now we require some kind of medical attention. May we be excused to tend our wounds?"

Lillian broke off abruptly before the temptation to say something sarcastic in addition to her scanty report got too strong.

"It figures. Can't you kids stay out of trouble one damn day?" Which, really, their amount of trouble hadn't been even close to daily. As far as he knew, the worst of what they had seen he had lead them into on both accounts. He was still interested how none of them had bothered asking any further questions about anything, but just as well. Going through the motions and just stamping out demons then. "And these two are in on it now? It can't be helped, I suppose."

Raising an eyebrow at them, he looked over each one and counted visible injuries. No one looked dead. That was good. "The school nurse is still in downstairs in the gym's infirmary. Just say a set piece fell or something, and let me know if you need anything."

"Yes, sir,"' Lillian said, careful to keep her tone respectful. As far as she was concerned, it was the principal's fault they had gotten hurt in the first place but at that point, she would have said anything to get them out of that room. To be fair, Mr. Ivors had come promptly and he was letting them go now to get help.

The school nurse couldn't heal them as well as Heather or Anthony could but she could provide bandages to cover up any cuts which would be helpful in warding off unwanted questions.

"Thank you, Mr. Ivors."

Lillian turned away and headed straight for the exit. The others could follow if they wished. If not, she knew where she was going.

Amalia didn't bother looking courteous or grateful. In fact, she was giving Oscar a glare that could have made the whole auditorium go up in flames, if she'd had that power.

... Maybe if Ezra or Rolf-- no. Setting the General on fire was probably a bad idea, but at times, it was just so tempting to wipe that exasperated look on his face. Did he think they were causing him trouble? He'd been the one to lock them in there in the first place, and he'd gotten them into the museum with the mirror fiasco! Sure, Ama liked her challenges, but this was getting absurd!

So she muttered something in Spanish that definitely wasn't "Gee thanks for your concern" and gave Lindsey a nudge towards the exit. He probably didn't need her support with his cane back in hand, but it never hurt.

Lindsey just snorted. So he did know, but he wasn't even trying to pretend he cared. Really, Lindsey trusted this man about as far as he could throw him, and his nonchalance about the situation wasn't helping any.

He heard Amalia mutter something, and while he was no expert, he knew enough to hope the principal didn't speak Spanish with any amount of skill. It was a little bit of a struggle to keep the smirk off of his face, though. For what it was worth, he kind of liked this chick.

At Amalia's urging, he straightened- he'd be damned if he was gonna lean on her the whole way- and headed for the door.

So he knew too...

Lynne wondered if he hadn't, if he'd lose that infuriatingly, condescendingly nonchalant attitude. Probably not. At least they could leave and, well, he was giving them an excuse. Even if he had locked them in in the first place.

She was too tired to fake much gratitude but she managed a grateful nod and left after the rest of them.

Lillian waited outside until the others left the auditorium. There was one more thing she needed to mention, given their current states.

"Two of us have the power to heal wounds," she said after casting a quick glance around to make sure no stragglers were lurking around in the hallway. "A freshman boy named Anthony and a senior girl by the name of Heather. If you choose to seek them out, it would still be a good idea to ask the school nurse to bandage you up in case anyone sees you and stops to ask questions."

She stopped speaking for a moment, twirling a strand of her hair around a finger.

"And I'm willing to take a rain check on that meal should you find yourselves hungry one day and desiring company," Lillian added finally with a small smile.

Heather? She was apart of this too? Lynne was starting to wonder who wasn't in on the Demon-Persona business.

Lynne felt her lips twitch with amusement at the mention of food. Between her annoyance with Mr. Ivors and the attack, she'd forgotten all about being hungry. Now, she was too tired and oddly wired to think too much about food. "I wouldn't mind taking you up on that sometime."

"I'd like that," Lillian said, her smile widening a little.

"Um, oh, how can I contact you? I've been working on gathering everyone's information so we can all keep in touch... Lack of communication has come up as a problem for us in the past."

"Probably my cell. I've usually got it on me - not today though." And after today she was making sure that thing was always on her.

She ruffled through her pocket for the small notepad she used to jot down story/letter reply ideas that came to her. She ripped out a page a blank page and wrote her cell number. "Here. Oh, and my online name is pen underscore vs underscore laptop."

"Thank you. May I borrow your pen and pad a moment?" Lillian asked. "I can give you my information, too, so you know how to reach me."

"Oh, sure." Lynne handed her the pen and pad. "Anywhere's good."
