WHO: Oscar, Anthony, Ezra, Rolf, and Lester WHERE: Detention in the basement classroom usually meant for Health classes. WHEN: July 25th, 2012. Right after classes. WHY: Because of destroyed bathrooms, this, and this.
Ezra wasn't one to run from assuming responsibility, but he knew a hopeless situation when he saw one, and there had been no way to honestly answer that e-mail inquiry and sound sane. The repurcussions for the bathroom would have been the least of his worries, with a trip to the nearest mental hopsital in the immediate future. And to be honest, the offhand promise of ice-cream just hadn't sat well with him

Lester almost fell down the stairs as he made his way into the basement. This was what happened when he didn't use the handrails. But he didn't fall, so that's what was important.
He trotted down to a space that thankfully already had lights. He blinked around at the room, feeling oddly uncomfortable at the lack of big windows. He stuck a hand in his pocket and kicked up the volume on his piPod. He didn't realize he had the Speedy Cat song.
Ah! There was someone he knew. That was always a good thing. He was glad to realize he wasn't the only one down here. He shuffled across the floor and leaned on the wall next to the person who got there before him.
After staying there for a while, he wondered if it might be a good idea to actually say something instead of just appear out of nowhere and stand there in silence. He looked up and to his left.
When he had first received the note, Anthony may have been a little perturbed by it; fussing over the detention until he finally accepted his fate second period. Instead of dwell on it, this one simply made light of the situation. He didn't think he did anything wrong after all, and after some explaining to the principal, he was sure he would be let off

Rolf gawked when he saw the neatly written letter requesting him to promptly report to detention after classes. He'd always associated detention with those unruly types like chronic class disruptors and maybe people with eye patches and tattoos, so why was he being put into detention? He neither had eye patches nor tattoos, and he'd always been pretty quiet in class. And while he may not exactly pay a whole lot of attention to anything his teachers say, he was still a rather good student. Maybe this was all just a mistake
