Oh. Oh John. The poor boy. D: A sadistic part of me wants this to have happened in canon, because Sherlock really needs to see how NOT GOOD that was. I mean, John's always going to forgive him, but even if there were minimal risk to the whole "experiment," the mental trauma it did could've been far worse. I believe in John and his mental stability, but God, it could've been so much worse. :( Beautifully written!
